Gauteng — head office
Our head office in Lyttelton Manor, Centurion serves Pretoria, Johannesburg, Midrand, the Vaal
and surrounding areas. Most Tesla Powerwall 3 and Sigenergy SigenStor installations to
date have been commissioned in this region.
Our Cape Town branch in Table View covers the Atlantic Seaboard, Northern Suburbs, Southern

corrosion-protected DC isolators specified for salt-air conditions.
Our Polokwane branch covers Polokwane, Tzaneen, Mokopane and Bushveld farms. Many Limpopo
projects are off-grid or grid-assist hybrid systems on agricultural sites — with diesel
displacement and irrigation pumping among the most common briefs.

Quick answers to the questions readers ask most often about our installation portfolio, how
case studies are written and how to visit a reference site.
How many solar installations has Synergy Energy completed in South Africa?
Synergy Energy Solutions has been installing solar PV, battery storage and underfloor heating systems across South Africa since 2010, with over 1 700 systems commissioned to date. Completed projects span residential, commercial and agricultural sites in Gauteng, Western Cape and Limpopo, including Tesla Powerwall, Sigenergy SigenStor and Sunsynk hybrid installations. A full portfolio with system specifications and outcomes is published on this page as projects complete.
What’s the difference between an installation and a case study on this page?
An installation is a completed project shown with photos, location (suburb level), the system installed and its size in kWp or kWh. A case study goes deeper — it covers the client’s energy problem, why a specific system was chosen, equipment specifications, commissioning data and measured savings or backup performance after handover. Use the filter chips at the top of the project grid to view either.
Which areas of South Africa does Synergy Energy install in?
Synergy Energy installs nationally from three regional bases: the Gauteng head office in Centurion (covering Pretoria, Johannesburg, Midrand, the Vaal and surrounding areas), Cape Town in the Western Cape (covering the Atlantic Seaboard, Northern Suburbs, Boland and Garden Route), and Polokwane in Limpopo (covering Polokwane, Tzaneen, Mokopane and Bushveld farms). Country-wide projects are quoted on request — contact us for areas outside our regional branches.
Can I visit a completed installation before deciding on my own system?
In some cases, yes. Several Synergy Energy clients have agreed to host short site visits for prospective customers considering similar systems — typically Tesla Powerwall 3, Sigenergy SigenStor or large hybrid PV setups. Site visits are arranged by appointment only and depend on the host’s availability. Email info@synergyenergy.co.za with your area and the system type you’re considering, and we’ll check if a reference site is available nearby.
Do you publish performance data from your installations?
Yes, where the client gives written permission. Case studies on this page include measured data such as daily solar yield in kWh, battery backup duration during load-shedding, percentage of self-consumption from solar, and where applicable, monthly savings versus the prior Eskom bill. Personally identifiable details such as the client’s surname, exact street address and account numbers are never published.
How can my completed Synergy installation be added as a case study?
If Synergy Energy installed your system and you’d like it featured, email info@synergyenergy.co.za with the subject “Case study consent”. With your written permission we’ll arrange a site photo session, pull anonymised performance data from your monitoring portal, and write the case study for your review before it’s published. There is no cost, and you can withdraw consent at any time.
